If you live in a country that has half the population does that mean you can pollute twice as much?

USA's CO2 output in neck and neck with China - and you're talking about a quarter of the worlds population there. . and there's a kicker - much of the pollution caused by China is due to products exported to the USA - ie. A lot of China's CO2 is also due to American consumerism.
