Is anyone getting virus related cancellations?

I'm in Portugal and all of my gigs for March just got cancelled. Not only cancelled but the bars and venues have been closed.
I don't know how it's gonna be in april but I'm not confident because seeing what's happening abroad this crisis will last for a few more months.

Only 1 so far, but I don't have many lined up so far. The bar shut down for two weeks while the pandemic passes.

I have a day job that is fairly isolated. I won't really loose work, buy A LOT of my musician friends are out of work. A friend posted that he has a teaching job at a local community college. The classses are shut and only done remotely, and all of his performance classes may get shut down for the semester. He also said that all of his gigs are gone for a month or two.

Another friend said that all of his gigs cancelled, and almost all of his lessons have cancelled, and he's essentially out of work right now.

A third friend runs sound, and had got the contract for three stops for a 4-day music festival next month. He was super proud of the contract and had been talking about it for months. A month of work for him is now gone.

Lost a week's salary due to an early music orchestra cancelation, and had to postpone my own CD release event tonight at a local brewery as a precaution. Hopefully my colleagues will be able to make a rescheduled date work. I had been working up to the release and this event for more than a year. :(

We got cancelled from a relatively big local show that would have been this Tuesday, but for the band it worked out for the better. We had 2 guitarists about 18 months ago and we played with just one a number of times. Well the one guitarist we have now is having some personal issues and is leaving the band and wanted to cancel 2 shows this weekend and I don't know about the Tuesday show, but it's cancelled. We started practicing with a guitarist and keys player, but they will need time to learn the tunes, they are nice guys but not at the level of the guy who is leaving.

I have lost an opera (many rehearsals and performances) and a choir gig so far- really hoping we're back up and running by summer! Apparently there is an AFM Contract Defence fund that will pay scale for any contracted work, but with the huge number of cancellations, who knows if there will be enough money? Also the Canadian government is talking about support, but I guess we'll see. I'm laying low for the weekend. (Check on your folks and any elderly shut-ins you might know, as they are the most vulnerable).

Had the first one this week. The private gig had been booked six months ago, so the band is getting paid regardless. I don't necessarily disagree with the client's decision to cancel the event. But IMHO, "better safe than sorry" isn't a force majeure-type situation.

At the time of this writing , I think we have about 12 confirmed cases in my state. No cancellations for me as of yet. We played Fri. night , Sat. night , and my drummers other band has one for this afternoon which is still on to my knowledge. I have one for next Sun. at the same place my drummer is playing today. We will have to see. I hear thet are considering closing a lot of restaurants in the state. Hasn't happened as of yet.

Just had a May wedding reception gig indefinitely postponed.

While I can grumble all I want about a few lost gigs, my plight truly pales in comparison to those folks who have lost their entire livelihoods as a result of the restrictions.

Amazing what changes in a week.

State is on indefinite lockdown, and I’m betting we lose four out of five venues for good; I don’t know many business owners that can go two months with no income. And FWIW, I think we’re going to be locked down longer than that.

We're getting a little bit of push-back from clubs we used to gig at regularly. Has anyone (particularly in the Australian market) had any virus related cancellations?
Hi mate, in Sydney all our gigs have been cancelled at clubs until further notice. I don't think we'll be back until after the middle of the year if all goes well.

If you have a look at the clubs websites they have cancelled anything and everything that attracts a crowd and from tomorrow they will be shut down for a while.
