I've been asking myself this question... Maybe that's one of the reasons I started this, so I can convince myself that I can sell most of my basses.

I only own two electric basses at the moment, but since I started playing double bass two years ago I've come to the conclusion that it is important to get to know your instrument (this is especially true with the DB) and I think that if you have too many basses you never get to know them intimately.
