I guessed P - not that I would've gotten it right anyway, but do you think the mid boost gives the J bass more of a p sound on the neck pickup? I always thought of the mid boost as a way to punch up the bridge pup, but that's very cool if it gives the neck pup more of a P vibe.

Adding in the bridge pickup gives more of a nasal mid bite so wouldn't that do a similar job to adding eq mids?

The P bass tone has more bite than a solo's neck pickup so is there a reason why a 60/40 or 70/30 in favor of the neck pickup should not give a better P bass tone?
