Having played several basses that were identical, except for neck-attachment, I've noticed there are, in fact differences.That a bolt-on neck Bass provides a much more "snappy" or "punchy" tone than a set-neck or neck-through Bass?
I have been recently looking at neck-through Spector and Warwick Basses to get a good mix-raping tone, but would a bolt-on Bass provide to my needs better?
That's a good vid but the woods on the two basses are different so it doesn't really give a just comparison of bolt-on vs. neck through.
