Is it worth getting a P Bass?

Hi,

I currently own a 2005 musicman sterling and a 2005 fender jazz with the s1 switch. I like playing with the switch on because it gives a fatter pino like tone more like the P bass but doesn't quite get there, I was wondering whether its worth going all out to get a p bass.. is it worth it if i already have the s1 switch on the jazz?

I play through an aguilar tone hammer 500 with the DB212 cab, and play a variety of styles.

Thanks

I like my P very much and find it to have been an extremely worthwhile addition.
I'd say it's very much worth getting a Pbass.
