Is there anyone making "Exotic" Jazz basses out there??

Yup. Sheldon launched the new Super-J 5 string this past spring. One of the 'new' features is a special 'exotic' line. You name the wood and the look and you got it.

Lately he's also been toying with the idea of an 'extreme' series with very new, fun and bizarre paint jobs too!

Now I'm seeing what I wanna see!!!! Wow!!!!

One thing I've noticed though is alot of custom Jazzes, seem to only get as crazy as a body wood, with one veneer and a top wood at most.

I was hoping to see some MTD like multi laminate bodies. Multiple accents, core wood, exotic top and back etc etc.....

I think my GAS might be bordering dementia....

Pete Skjold will build it as elaborate as you want. Wood pup covers, wood knobs, custom inlays, graphic finishes, two tone hardware, etc.

You should definitly check out Adamovic guitars and basses. He builds a solid jazzbass and has loads of great woods in stock.
