Is this a 60th anniversary fender?? (pics)

Hi,
The other week i was in in Denmark Street in London, im sure some of you know it, and ended up buying this gorgeous fender sunburst mexi p-bass.

Now i've heard that the 60th anniversery fenders have american picups and an american finished neck as well as a couple bits n pieces.

Well, on this bass i noticed that on the back of the headstock, there is a a little badge saying fender and a diamond shape with "60" in it.

So i have a couple of questions. Firstly, is this a 60th anniversary fender that they forgot to finish off in the factory with the little diamond on the front of the headstock and a wavy thing, and the shop just didn't notice the badge, OR is the little badge standard on all 2006/07 fenders.
If not how do i check whether the pickups are US?

anyway, thanks for any help, and either way(anniversary or not), this bass sounds as good as it looks, amazing :)

oh yeah, a couple of pics, sorry bout quality and light(camera phone)

If I am not mistaken, the small logo on the back of the headstock is standard on all the models in '06... I had a deluxe active J (MIM) in '05 and saw the exact same bass with that logo last year at Guitar Center...

I believe the 60th Anniversary comes in Blizzard Pearl (Silver) paint.

But it sounds like you have a nice bass no matter what. Enjoy Bro!

+1 The 60th Anniversary Standard Precision Bass came in Blizzard Pearl with a rosewood neck.
Part number 014-6102-355.
The Standard Precision Bass came in various colors, rosewood.
Part number 013-6100-xxx

The American P Basses came as:
60th Anniversary American Precision Bass, 3-Color Sunburst/rosewood
Part Number 011-6200-700
or
American Precision Bass, various colors, rosewood or maple
Part Number 019-326x-xxx

Both the Anniversary edition and the regular edition featured that 60th anniversary button on the back of the headstock.

But it sounds like you have a nice bass no matter what. Enjoy Bro!

My American Jazz 60th had the little diamond on the front of the headstock, a logo on the back of the headstock and was sunburst if that helps in any way. the MIM Jazz did not.

Your bass looks like a 60th MIM P. Actually it is a MIM bass made in 2006 (ish) which was Fender's 60th Anniversary year. Nice bass though.

Here is exactly how my 60th MIA Jazz came from the factory (case is included)...

Dude, a few months ago I was in this same situation. I've got a Midnight Wine P Bass with a little badge on the back from '06 and I was like 'hmmm'.
My serial number starts with MZ7 too so it just made me confused but it sounds great, American pickups or not and at the end of the day, thats all that matters :)

If anyone wants to see pictures of it just give me a shout :)
