Is this a fake fender

As you all know I have been working on the"Fender Jerkweasle Bass Project" with the Fender R&D guys recently and this is actually a prototype Fender decal in the OP. It's called the "Fender Smartphone Logo". It was inspired by the Fender T.V. logos of yore. The larger T.V. logos were designed so the Fender name could be more easily seen when an artist would play their Fender on T.V. Now that people watch a lot of videos and what not on their smartphones' small screens the Fender R&D guys and graphic designer types came up with this even larger decal so people would know that they are watching a Fender.

looks good to me f_fbf67a803f.jpg

I'll hope those who "liked" it did so for my intended delivery related to how so far off authentic that decal is and if not, for the record - I wish malice on no one. :) I'll also go so far as to say that those who "liked" it mean no malice as well.
I'll give you that most who liked you probably DID read it in the way you meant. (For the record, I think I liked it) as I did realize that you probably weren't being entirely literal. I guess the teacher in me just feels the need to "correct" where I see someone leaning in a bad direction - even if I don't think they'd personally rip someone off - especially when responding to the people who are taking it too far in the other direction (aka: the decal-schtapo or the spaghetti logo shirts, if you will) :D.
