Does it just show all the pics in the thread when you click on attachments?
Well, call me Dr. Random. If you try, you may get surprised at what you find, you might not.The doc probably sold the bass (complete and unrelic'd) about 15 years ago and will have absolutely no idea why some random internet person is contacting him![]()

If you don't try, you'll never know for sure.
I have a Fender CS Relic P-bass. It is stamped RELIC under the bridge, under the pickguard, and (IIRC) under the neck plate.
Well, the dirty deed is done. I just pinged the doc via email, we'll see if he responds.Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to hearing any info the doc may have, just 'cos I'm nosy. I was actually playing a game of "guess what happens next..." with myself.
It's fun to play with oneself!

I'm thinking that might be a 1999 American Standard body; has the look, has the pickguard.
I can't locate any 1999 US Fender Jazz Bass neck pocket pix or part lists to confirm the part number that is listed in the neck pocket.
I did run into this Fender 2000 MIM neck pocket that has a similar format - weird "E\F" character, then five digital part number.

It's only all the pictures on that page, not the whole thread.I can definitely see how that would get very confusing, can you imagine it in a large thread?
I think so (depending on browser?)...that's what happened to me. But then I kept reading the thread, and enlightenment came.Does it just show all the pics in the thread when you click on attachments?
I let him know (via FB Messenger) and also told him to look at this thread. I don't know him well, but we are friendly over social media. I really don't think that he's the kind of guy to try to pull anything or lie. I think that he was told this by a previous owner. So he prob got taken advantage of which frankly, sucks.. :-(I'd love to see the look on local seller's face, when they hear what the doctor said.

LMAO!!!!Somebody should ask Dr. Bobb this, he seems pretty knowledgeable about things.
