I actually chuckled at your post. You come off as angry. But I know the neck is worth more than a standard u.s. neck. It's quarter-sawn and it has superior fretwork and it is in fact a custom shop neck which makes it superior. So again, I disagree with you completely.
Back to your original question (not sure if someone has brought up this already), check the pots which should be close in age to the body stamped in the neck pocket. The mutes holes position shows poor craftsmanship (sign this is not a CS) and also the knobs are not historically correct. If I were you, I'd keep looking.
