Is this a good offer for GC?

A Guitar Center by me has a used Ray35 for $550. I was considering bringing in a LTD B-415SM + $150 for an offer. I don't know if they lowball people, but seeing how many used basses are on their site people must be selling to them.
Is this an offer they would even consider? Or am I off base and better off selling my bass on my own and just going back to buy?

That LTD is what, like $850 new? They'd probably sell it for about $500, so they'd give you about $250 for it. $300 tops. I bet they'd turn you down.

My guess is they will give you in the realm of $300 for the LTD so with the $150 you are a bit lower than their asking price. If it's been sitting awhile they will be willing to deal and you might get by with that offer. Hard to say.

Are you talking about the one in Totowa? It looks like there's 4 used Ray 35's right now on used.guitarcenter.com and the one you're talking about is $100 more than the rest. I'd say there's room to deal.

You guys are on point. Called GC. They guy said if it is in good shape, which it is, he would pay $300 - $325 to mark up to ~$450. Guess I will sell on my own.
I know $550 is average for Ray35s and I could find them. But this one is a few towns over and I was ready to move without waiting for shipping online.

Yes Totowa. I played it a bit while I was there for something small. Might go back and just play it while it is there.
Might even bring in my LTD just to A-B them.

There's a used one in Vegas for $449, which equates to my bass + $150. But no pic. Plus I would have to wait for shipping and I would be waiting anyway. Prob sell on my own.
