Oh man, that's a rabbit hole.... I did not use a dry flake gun, just a giant 2.5mm nozzle sprayer. All the paint, flake, clear, and flake sprayer were bought from Little Daddy Roth Flakes. I then just bought a cheap Lowe's gun for the clear. Pretty simple stuff, even for someone like me who has never used a true spray gun before. Looks like the pictures are uploading in reverse order...But the process was paint, tape, paint tape, over and over again. Although the picture is pretty bad, the purple and silver pre-flake does look really cool as well.
Word of advice: Don't use different layers of flake. If you flake, do one solid layer and if you want different colors, use a candy. Taping between flake layers and trying to not get build up was quite a pain.
But you must only play it while wearing stack heels, flares, and oversize shades.
