im a pretty big fan of Hardcore. but they arent that great. hardcore with vocals like that isnt usually good unless its faster then the speed of light.

those bands are hardcore bands, that "screamo" or whatever they want to call it, is as close to hardcore as it is to cool funk pop

Well, it's definatly music...

Although, the singer has to go....seems like he's just screaming for the sake of it and not for the effect of it...

I love scream metal lots...some bands do it so creatively and it makes the songs somewhat addictive, but this track did nothing for me what-so-ever.

The Instruments were ok, although I hear the "newbie-factor"

If they keep practicing, find a more creative singer with a more recognizable voice...then, they might find their niche.

Definately. You can hear this in Death's album Symbolic very well. It just puts so much emotion into the song if you do it right. But trying to force it into a song makes it bleah.
