They really sound good with a GK 800RB. Ween's bassist has been using this set up since day one.Friend of mine swears by that 2x15 kustom cabinet. It fits everything he drives and for an old cabinet, it weighs nothing. But I just think he likes the way it sparkles in the lights
Now we ThumpinWell that thread didn't end good. Oh well.
Maybe @Wumper should buy it and open it up. Seems like that is what everybody in the thread was really wanting to see.
Also seeing how Wumper lives in Georgia maybe he could hook up with @Dave Hill and directly compare it to his F212.?
...That stats on that cab you linked are pretty stout. Good down to 30hz and 1400W. It should be a big upgrade to your Crate combo.
that cab does not look like a 1x15/1x10.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Are these good? Like better than the fear stuff. It is local to me.

Oh, but what about that SWR 8x10? Got one of those available locally, how is it? </threadjack>View attachment 2947102
Been there done that. The BBC was outclassed by the F212 and Hathors, IMO. There’s a thread somewhere about the shootout.
So don't let their specs mislead you.
- First of all, no one really wants content at 30Hz. Creates more problems, and doesn't really add anything people want.
- Second, no cab actually reproduces content at 30Hz that is loud enough to be reasonably heard. It's often actually -12dB @ 30Hz or something like that.
Great cab for what it is. Nowadays you could probably find one for half the price of the original $1500 price tag.Oh, but what about that SWR 8x10? Got one of those available locally, how is it? </threadjack>

Yeah, my kids do the same thing....just ups the volume by pumping a lot more kids that sound mostly like 400 through 1k or so.
I’d go with the “fear stuff”.
