Been there done that. The BBC was outclassed by the F212 and Hathors, IMO. There's a thread somewhere about the shootout.

My gosh, is that a Plush lurking in the back ground? I haven't seen one of those since the mid 70s. It deserves it own picture (s) BTW. Looks like it's in really nice condition.

Per Fender's website, 110 lbs.

That price is way high.

And you mean in the air, right? They floated in the air? I almost have mine trained to do the whole load out.

Haha. I'd take a Plush over the BBC any day. That Kustom was my first amp and it still delivers. I put new speakers in it last year and it sounds great!

Physically too low to the ground, kinda cumbersome, sounded sterile, couldn't get really loud with farting out compared to other boutiques and the cost is way too expensive for what you get.

I'm a happy BBC Tank 1212 owner for two years now. For over a year I've been using it two Sunday's a month in a Joe Satriani 3-Piece band. Zero complaints, sounds fabulous, it's light weight and loud. Rock-on!

No doubt you've noticed that the sound does stay low to the ground... in spite of firing upward AND sideways. It's all about defying physics.

I've heard and understand that the Tanks may not be for everyone but come on..... Some of the stuff being said is REAL extra!

I agree. Fearless Cabs are higher up the ladder than BoomBass cabs.. To my knowledge, the parts in a fearless cab are of the highest quality you can get, so why would Boombass be any better?

And @Wumper In a real-world test, Go ahead and put up a video of you trying your local boombash cabinet, and I'll show you my video with my Fearless 112 destroying that tank..

It should be noted that "highest quality" parts don't always equal
"Best performance".
