Is this Normal?

If the neck is fitted properly, i.e., no movement, etc., I wouldn't worry too much about it. That being said, I have a $150 SX Ursa 4 bass that looks like the neck was hand fitted to the body.

I know I have seen that with guitars that is what bothers me the most, it is supposed to be a flagship model.

My stomach actually got this horrible feeling, I was playing along and liking it then I felt that and that is when I felt kinda sick, like really, this is going to have a noticeable overhang?

Going to take it to a luthier friend tomorrow see what he thinks.

I have no idea what you tried to take pics of, but I see a pick, some green material and something off-white.

I have apologized for the poor pictures at least once above.

Here is another.

I should have taken one more like this from the beginning.

How long have you had it and what are your options to return it? If you're unhappy with the bass your first step should be to contact the retailer to see if you can exchange it.

I have only had it a couple of days.
It is going back tomorrow.

I just feel that for this kind of money (or any for that matter), I should be totally happy.

A friend told me, it is 100% your money so you should be 100% happy.
