Is this plucking or slapping or neither?

Love Mike. He is a bass-player's player. I remember sitting with him in a puddle of beer next to the wall in between sets of a fIREhOSE gig. We talked bass for quite a while. He was very cool. Beard at the time and soaked in sweat.
I believe I've seen another video of Mike's band that he did "Piss-bottle Man" with but I can't find it. Can you tell me more about that particular formation? I listened to Minutemen and Firehose but I don't connect with those as I do with the "Piss-Bottle Man" people.

Listen to fIREhOSE 1991 record, "Flyin' the Flannel".

So what is the line-up with your recording? You planing the bass? You singing? I really enjoyed it.
It's a one-man band. I'm playing/singing everything. The mixing/production itself was the hardest and took two years to accomplish all on my own. This particular album is called Music For Good People. My swan song I guess. You can listen to the entire thing and earlier compilation albums of mine spanning three decades here: Ari Nobody
