Just listened to "Piss-bottle Man".
I dig it.
I had listened to these guys before, I remember it now. And that was a song I had liked quite a bit but I forgot the name.
I'm going to dig deeper into their repertoire.

Love Mike. He is a bass-player's player. I remember sitting with him in a puddle of beer next to the wall in between sets of a fIREhOSE gig. We talked bass for quite a while. He was very cool. Beard at the time and soaked in sweat.

I believe I've seen another video of Mike's band that he did "Piss-bottle Man" with but I can't find it. Can you tell me more about that particular formation? I listened to Minutemen and Firehose but I don't connect with those as I do with the "Piss-Bottle Man" people.

It's a one-man band. I'm playing/singing everything. The mixing/production itself was the hardest and took two years to accomplish all on my own. Nope. It's finger style played on a twisted neck with naturally copious fret buzz. But it is a P Bass of sorts, yes. A '90s Squier PJ Special, a lefty no less. Not using the bridge J pup at all.
