Is this the laziest generation?

Of course we are the laziest generation, oddly enough we are also the busiest.

As technology advances, we make things to do more and more things for us, thus allowing us to be lazy. You can get a robot to do the vacuuming, you can get one to mow your lawn. You can order food from your mobile phone, that is on your person at all times, or you can buy it in packets of the internet and heat it up when you want it. Hell, you don't even ever have to leave your house if you don't want to.

But, because all these things do stuff for you, you are expected to get more other stuff done with that "free" time. You need to have a phone on you and be contactable at all times, everything needs to be done not just now, but yesterday. Everyone is always in a rush, there is always too much to be done.

We are physically lazier due to the circumstances in which we live, and that translates across to our general attitude to a certain extent, but at the same time we are more active than ever before.

Take the internet for example. A person doesn't have to leave their chair to research a subject, but because they don't have to they are expected to get it done in a fraction of them time, and they have to process a hell of a lot more information to do it.
