He lost me after the introduction. I know several bands that would throw him out if he walked into the club carrying that.

Ugh, tapping is one of my pet peeves. I have no idea why, but i cringe. I don't have the talent to do that so by no means am I knocking the talent.
That thing got stolen a little while ago. Apparently he got it back, which is great for him.

I have to say I enjoy what he does but I would not really want a 12 string... probably 9 maximum

The 4 neck guitar from the Nitro "Freight Train" video got stolen (2 lefty necks, 2 righty necks, he could play over or under the neck). Who else could play that? For the record the band cracked me up and I was not a fan, but Michael is a talented player.
I would like to see the expressions on my bandmates faces if I showed up to play a country music gig with that bass......HaHaHa! They already think that I am nuts and that would confirm their thoughts!
Nice bass though and the guy is talented but that's just not for me. It has 8 too many more strings than I need. But.....Party on Garth.

That's beyond me, but lots is beyond me and I am cool with that 
I think that would be cool in a trio situation with drums and maybe piano (that is, if you could play it). Must be a challenge to properly amplify it with such a huge frequency response though, if Scott chimes in I'd love to hear what he does with the signal.

Just when I was thinking about taking a couple of strings off my 4 string, to make it more manageable.
The guy is amazing, though, but why is that instrument even called a bass? Extended range guitar fits as well. The reference to the Chapman Stick is appropriate, neither guitar, nor bass (or is it both?).
