My mustang is much better now, i took it to a local shop, the luthier there is great! He removed and adjusted the neck, reset the intonation and action! The bass plays sweet now!

I REFUSE to let others dictate the frequencies that come out of my bass! Tuning is for sheep! 
My Lakland is always in tune but it stays in a gig bag if I’m not playing it to keep the kids off it. My Ibanez needs tuning most times I pick it up but it’s kept on a stand so I have a bass handy for a quick practice when the mood takes me. Maybe the bag protects the Lakland from atmospheric changes?
Yes, I lived in No Alabama, temps varied from 5 degrees to 100, humidity from 10% to 100%
What's all this bs about tuning it's overrated and seems like a waste of time and anyways usually I'm coming into some blotter and have a hard time concentrating anyhow, so is it ok if I like, just kinda go with the flow and noodle around and since its fretless the notes don't really matter anyway and the dots are just kinda guard rails to bounce off of.....right?

My Fender MIM Standard J is a bit of an odd duck, with tuning machines that are quite precise. Whenever the A, D and G strings are spot-on (which is about 90% of the time), the E string requires a minor tweaking. However--and this is why I refer to it as an odd duck--when the E string is spot-on, I have to make a minor adjustment to the A string; the D and G are in tune but do wander off slightly into sharps-ville after the first half-hour of playing. Whenever the strings are initially out of tune, they're usually flat. (Ironically(?) or coincidentally, I prefer Lay's S-I-T (for "stays in tune") Power Wound .050-.105 set on the J bass I'm describing. The name may be a bit gimmicky, but I find them tonally superior on my J bass.)
Yeah, pretty much. Years ago, a friend of mine dropped his Jazz down a flight of steps...it fell out of the case.

my 2014 Fender MIM Jazz stays relative real close, and I don't know if its the Hipshot bridge or medium gauge Chromes? By real close I mean very slight tweaking if any on 4 strings with stock tuners in less than a couple of minutes.
My 2014 MIM Jazz goes out of whack all the time. Absolutely awesome bass, but the tuners definitely need an upgrade.
Yes, I have a Squier VM Jazz. It's always in tune, no matter the extremes of temperature, no matter if it's a muggy day that turns into a thunderstorm and I bring my bass, which had been sitting in the car all day, into the air-conditioned studio.
Hey, I even did the Mono Vertigo Gig Bag Drop from a second-story window when I first bought it...still 100% in tune when I pulled it from the bag to check it!
No dead spots on the fretboard either.
No 60-cycle hum.
Even stranger, for some reason, I never have to clean it, fretboard or body...never saw one, single fingerprint, never a speck of dust!

In its case, every bass is both tuned AND out of tune. I see from the answers here that nobody is familiar with Schrödinger’s Bass.
According to Schrödinger, the Copenhagen interpretation implies that the bass remains both tuned and out of tune until the state has been observed.

My SX stays in tune so well I almost move the tuning keys as much as I set up the intonation. I almost never have to use them. The only way it goes out of tune is if tuners rotate inside the gigbag.
