I recently bought a GK MB112 and I haven’t gotten to try it out on stage. With good reviews and 200 watts, I bought it thinking it’d be a little powerhouse for most gigs and easily expandable via the powered extension cabs. Well it turns out the cabinets aren’t exactly on every street corner now that I’ve started looking for them. I don’t want $700 tied up in a 4x10 extension cab that I’ll rarely use, but right now that’s all I can find. I’d like another 1x12 (or perhaps 1x15) which are cheaper when you can find them.
Does anyone have any experience with GK’s powered extension cabs?
