Cool! :thumbsup: So, you too, were one of the Chosen. :) Around ten years ago, or so, when I saw Steve Hackett at my local Borders (now sadly, gone) I was talking with him, and he remembered that gig! :bassist: Keeping this somewhat on-topic, here is a song with a disco-ish beat to it.



Why does Londo look so much like Alfred Hitchcock these days? :roflmao:

Supposedly the first 45 RPM 12" dance disk - and I saw a lot of folks breaking it down in the Summer of '76:



And here's some early disco, but a bit more my speed. Forget Thelma Houston....




I'm pretty confident that it's Ronnie Baker on bass for both tracks (most definitely on "Ten Percent" - it was his production team!).

Unfortunately I don't have anything old school disco to really add, everything I can think of is quite a bit more on the funkier side of things - midnight star, fatback band, o'bryan, zapp. lots of great posts in this thread, discovered quite a few songs I haven't heard before, so thank you!

...here's some more "modern" disco sounding stuff though : )
