Guess what I just bought today? A Hofner 459 six string electric guitar, shaped like the Hofner violin bass, in fire engine red! Sha-zam! Needed it like a hole in the head.

I now choose guitars and basses as accessories before a gig, like what shoes or jacket I'm going to wear.

It's a sickness in a practical sense, but my audiences love it and I get to let my inner entertainer shine.

You only get so many Friday and Saturday nights in this world, right? Make 'em count; some day you'll be too old for such nonsense.

I'm a fan of @dukeplaysbass' "catch and release" program. Good therapy for GAS. Buy it, play it for a while, release it back into the wild.

Oh the pain....I don't gig anymore but I've just snagged a couple of outdoor functions with a local band who are not at all loud. Reckon my BA112 will cover it but I now find myself drooling over Bergantino, PF Ampegs etc..its ridiculous...Gas I hate it. well actually no I dont I LOVE it! but can I justify it, absolutely not.

Lately I've been wanting a Peavey T40 again. Why I cannot figure out for the life of me. Omg....that blue, the thick black pickguard stripe, the perfect string spacing ...please dont tell us its lightweight too? drool, swore I would never again go vintage but that is it.

Dr. P-minus h-D... could this be the very reason why I performed so poorly playing international Yahtzee? I was fine in the comfort of my 10X10 padded safe room, but when thrust into the cup-shaking world of competitive Yahtzee, I choked regularly, which I attribute to the 1000 watt fluorescents illuminating the game arenas... with your help, we may delve deep into my psyche, arriving at the real, underlying problem...

... in the interim, I'm moving on to CandyLand.

So after joking about this yesterday, I had a dream I was playing a Walnut burl Steinberger headless with a tremolo on it. In my dream you could still tune it where a headstock would have been, tuning pegs would fade into existence as your hand approached then disappear again after tuning. Weird. I don't want a tremolo or walnut or a headless. Gas is weeeeeird man... messes you up, man...
