itrack solo or Scarlett solo?

hi, ive been looking into audio interfaces and Im deciding between these two. The deciding factor would be whether or not one is better for mic'ing an amp than the other. there isn't a lot online on this topic :rollno:

I'm more familiar with recording on iPads so the itrack stands out to me. but would it be worth it to get the Scarlett and learn on my Mac? my experience with recording on mobile devices is limited to like GarageBand and bandlab with an adapter, and the results were less than favorable, so I've been looking into an audio interface to start recording with.

there's also the 2i2 model I've seen, but I'm not sure if its worth it if its only me who's gonna use it (? I've heard that it was meant for multiple instruments).

all in all, I'm mainly looking for something for mic'ing my amp for solo recordings or along to a scratch track with my band. any help is appreciated, thanks!:hyper:

I had not heard of the iTrack until now. Didn't know that Focusrite had a new product (maybe it is not new, but I track their products). At $50 more than the Solo and no AIR, I don't understand what they are going for here. I guess the direct connect to Apple's Lightning port?

The Scarlett Solo and Scarlett 2i2 are different units, so your title is confusing. All three will probably get you where you want to be. If it were me, I'd spend less and get a unit with AIR.
