It's a long story : violence content

Time to sit down, crack a cold one, put your feet up and slip in 'Roadhouse' on the old video displaying device. Worth it just to see Jeff Healy play. And note to bassplaying self....never swing your bass in defence of your stage....always use the butt end directly to the face of any onrushing idiot. That way you won't tweak the neck too bad, and with any luck you'll still be in tune for the next set.

I always felt it's best to grab the nearest mic stand, flip it over and try to make contact with the base. Worse case scenario is that it's cheaper to replace the mic and stand.
 
This is arguably one of the most badass stories I've ever read.
