Great news! The DB forums' guys will probably notice in a day or 2. Been there lurking as I usually do, it's the Sahara desert over there.
My computer crashed about 12 hours before talkbass went down, so I didn't even know there was a problem with the site until Monday.

Frankly, it's amazing the restore went so well. Restoring a site like this is not something for the weak of heart.

I just woke up from the worst nightmare, ever! Talkbass was down for a few days and I had the shakes and I actually had to PLAY my basses. It was horrible!

Woke up and looked across my room and there she is still...my Fender Jazz... picked up my IPad & like my Fender Jazz i Keyed in TB.com & there it is... Rocksteady! It's gonna be a great day in the BassHood of the world gotta go my JB is calling Peace

Now I can get back to bickering about "J vs P" or "mods vs stock" instead of practicing - whew!
I wonder if bass gear sales decreased during the outage - no way to create or reinforce GAS.
