Every few years my white whale bass pops up on Reverb again and it drives me freaking INSANE.

But even for a master-built CS, the $$ is just stupid. So stupid I consider selling my car to buy it.

Honestly it's a very easy and simple build they should do a version that's actually affordable.

And probably cheaper for Fender as well ... in fact I believe the non-contoured body was specifically meant to reduce production costs.

You’re in Fodera territory and well within Custom Shop pricing. $9k is A LOT for anything other than an original. And yeah, I get the scarcity thing.

Not even with your . . . wallet. Sorry. Nice bass, but there's nothing about it that screams exceptional to me. Unless it was an original '66 and I was in the market for one from that time period, it would be a hard pass, but that's the beauty of consumerism. There's a market for most everything.
