I've been overcome by GAS!!!

You all are a bad influence on me. Since I've been on here (since June) I have purchased a Shuttle 6.0, an EBS compressor and just this morning I put a Marcus Miller Jazz on layaway! I'm out of control.
Then I realized, I've been wearing a black fedora for years, how much "Marcus wannabe" flak wil I have to endure
I guess most people wouldn't no one way or the other but the minute a TB'er walks in I've had it.

It can certainly become a problem. I rationalized that basses and amps were too much money to throw around, and my set up is what I want anyway, so I could ease my GAS with fx pedals. Spent over $3K on those things, this year. No hope.

I thought so too. Then I bought a new house and even after selling the old one I'm *still* mortgaged up to my eyeballs. GAS gone!



Then again, knowing that I can't buy anything new for a while can be a good thing. I'm not distracted by gear lust and instead I find that I'm just plain playing.

The day I actually get a job, I'm screwed.

Thankfully, it would take approximately a million years to save up for most things on the money I get from the guvmint, so I just have to make do with pictures on the net
