I've found my strings!

Pedulla stainless. Simply amazing on any bass I've put them on. Just put a set on my Fender Active Jazz and whoa! Punchy. Great balanced tone and the tapered ends let me lower the action even more. Great sounding B! Love the feel.

So far I've got them on my Pedulla Thunderbass, Fender Jazz and Spector Euro.

Who else loves these strings?

You'd think so! But LaBella is so swamped making strings for other people, that they buy LaBella branded strings from D'Addario and just change the packaging. Little known fact there.

+1. They are like having a hint of tapered/exposed core SS type string....

Some how they taper over the bridge. It's not quite exposed core. I think exposed is thinner . But they are thinner than the average string over the bridge.

They make Nickel and Stainless TaperWound sets. Nickel for fretless and fretted and stainless for fretted.
