"I've Got WHAT in my Bass?!??"

Oh, you GOT to include the 'Feat!!! :hyper: :bassist:

In the meantime, Gimme Back my Bullets! I got to see Skynnyrd live at Missouri's version of Woodstock at the state fairgrounds in 1974. Heard "Freebird" before it began it's LONG journey through the airwaves and the set lists of so many bands...
Jeez, you were at the Sedalia Sodom and Gomorrah? Hoo Boy, that was such a train wreck 'cause they hired ne'er-do-wells like me to do security(overseen by Wells Fargo, it was to keep MO state troopers off the fairgrounds). Did some stuff, seen some things, none of which I can mention here. I remember the Skynyrd set, I was dragging casualties gooned on god knows what off to the bummer tent, running ahead of the golf cart/ambulance, driven by a Cowtown Ballroom groupie, clearing a path out. Gotta say, Joe Walsh's set was a highlight, and I got to see a young, hungry, and unknown Aerosmith. The rest is a fog. Yeah, Cindy from Chicago, wonder whatever happened to her...

I hope you ain't ashamed to have that funk as it is a privilege and blessing and damn near a necessity for a southern rock blues boogie bass player to have a little funk for the low down boot scooting, belly rubbing dance floor vibrating groove medicine we dish for the dancers and drinkers and the toe tappers. Hot Damn!
