Why would you get one if you're not a fan of it? Are you just so into Zender that you'll pay big bucks for a bass you don't like because his name is on it?

No one ever said the content of the artwork was bad, I think that type of finish for a guitar/bass is generally not liked. And no, it would not be better with Europeans. It could have robots on it for all I care, it would still look ridiculous.

I can't understand why Warwick are making a production model of this TM Stevens-paintwork thing.. have they had such a huge demand for this model? It's beyond me that anyone would pay thousands of dollars for a IMO pretty lame airbrushed bass with all this "symbolicism" of TMs African roots. Never even heard TM play anything but normal funk'n'roll, does he even play Afrobeat or reggae?
The SZ on the other hand, independent model, new looks, good for all the Zender-fans, and a shape that definitely is growing on me. And the P-Nuts and Star-basses are always beautifulPotential money-makers for Warwick i think
