call me crazy but i find something really attractive about the simplicity of an old fender P bass.
(however that ritter is one sexy piece of wood and i hope it plays as good as it looks)

Mine is also quite the player and has great, angry tone. The looks are certainly an acquired taste and maybe that is part of the appeal to me. The overdone, artsy, in your face tackiness is, to me, also quite beautiful and the hand carving makes each one one-of-a-kind which is welcome in a sea of clones, cookie-cutters and copies.
