J series vs P samples

I did see those. Not looking to hear series mode compared with parallel mode, but rather hear a jazz bass in series mode compared to a precision bass.
I hear varying opinions about the degree of difference, so id like to hear for myself. Through the same rig.
Trying talk myself out of (i.e. justify) buying another bass. (I play jazz in series.) I might have GAS....
Might just have to go down to the shop and A/B mine with a P, but thought somebody on here might know of a recording
