It's a capital K in Fraktur, a writing style that tends to throw English speakers because it makes some letters look like they should be other letters.
The Royals sure do have quite the haberdashery at their disposal. Makes for a great stage presence should they decide to go that route.

I think that's a Buddhist belief. Bowie was a student of Buddhism in his younger days and on the track 'Quicksand' (Hunky Dory) there's the line 'knowledge comes with death's release'.I've always said that when we die, all truths are revealed and all things are made known. I suppose that means that when I die, I'll finally be the bass player I always aspired to be. (And maybe by then, I'll know how to get the tone I've always heard in my head.)
