and you won't either if your talking about the white one. that is an early 90's concert and not too available unless someone is selling one.

BUT the new CBXV and JS3V even though they have soapbars, are still a hell of a good unit for under 400 bucks.
AND if you REALLY REALLY want that p/j sound you can swap the pickups out for EMG 40P and 40j so it would pretty much be the same, just in square cases.

Or you could just find a HAMER Scarab, Blitz or even an Impact (one of my favorites) he played them for a long time

Id also suggest you go check out one of the new Jackson JS3V and CBXV basses. Excellent in all ways if theyre like the 4 string versions. Also low cost.

I just like the looks of them, plus the P/J combo. I've got EMGs and other soap bars on other basses and would like this in a P/J. I know they're rare as hens teeth, but I'm pretty good at finding rare stuff like this on the internet, but have been unsuccessful so far.

I'm not in any hurry, this is more of a "I like the way that looks and played a 4 string version once before and liked it" search, and if one turns up, great.

It must have shark fins and be a 5er.
