I just see a LOT of blank space on the bass where there's just nothing going on. I've seen some great pickguards for the G&L L-2000 (which has about the same amount going on as the CB-X) and they look great. I was thinking of something similar, maybe? Or maybe I'll have a friend of mine do a black burst around the edges? :D
