I've never liked the thunderbird shape eventhough I am into out-of-box shaped basses. And this was until I've seen those TBX pictures. Those pictures make me wants one.
How much are they going for and how often you can see them someone selling?
I'll beat Andre to the answer for you. Between his and mine and one other persons, that makes 4 remaining in the world as far as we know ( and I have looked for years )...there are a few customs Jacksons floating out there, but NONE from the 94 pro series production run.

as far as seeing one for sale? it is possible but highly unlikely.

and I will resurrect this thread once again:

here's the latest to add to my C/J's I just picked up yesterday:

And when I say "P" bass, I mean POINTYHEAD Jackson's, not Fender Precisions :smug:

I finally got around to taking all the basses out of the cases and lining them up for a group shot including the one I just got a couple days ago ( minus the misfits this time ).....lol
left to right:
Model 3,1,4,1,2

I own a 2000 C4P. It is a great little bass and was my first bass. It was a great playing bass and was passive with two jazz p'ups. I'm currently in the middle of a refurb converting it to a 3-tone sunburst, defretting the neck, and upgrading to barts and an aggie obp-2.

I'll get pics when i can.

Did you buy that black one w/Kahler on ebay ? I sold one like that 3 or 4 years ago
ok, so now I know the original owner "bigOldHarry" from here, and you are owner #2, one of harry's students who bought it maybe?

ok so I'm owner #3

talk about a history!!!

G*D DAMN this thing has been around--then do you know the story of the refinished neck Andrerson?

anybody some day, someone (perhaps from TB ) will be owner #4:D

hahaha I already had that on my watchlist as soon as it went online...meh, just another customSHOP unit...tbird or not, and for a grand, someone else can have it...you always wanted mine, so why don't YOU buy it???

( I already know your answer ) :D, but feel free to answer that question>>

I just messaged the zero feedback seller, and asked himk to prove to me it is REAL, it was made by the jacksoncustomshop..serial#..etc ray, cause I dont believe it is real in any way, just a jackson neck on a tbird body...we will see.....and did you see "you will never see one of these anywhere" in his ad?...in my message I linked him to my TBX photobucket picture :D:D:D:D

we will see what happens, as here is another fabulous fake RAY that someone tried to say WAS a jackson FB
