the finish is cool, nothing bad there. AT LEAST they came out with a color instead of the rest of the JS series black/silver.

maybe next year the whole JS series will be gone, replaced with something else with "color selection"
That's because all Dave's basses are made as neckthru's, and are nothing NOTHING like the JS series, just like all his concert basses he played for the past 25 years.
everyone always says "ooh ya Dave got one", well folks he does, but what you or me buy for 359.95 is not that he uses which costs 3-4grand

I love me some Jackson. I have two kellys and a DK2, I have serious GAS for a kellybass, but this thing is like... Why did you even bother?
being in Norway Profania, you miss out on a lot of cool stuff that would double the cost to ship it to you, even if the sellers were willing to ship.

Yeah, there's a whole ton of stuff we will never get, unless we fly to a country that has them and bring it back, but even then we have to pay import tax. (unless you lie and say it was yours already.)
Pretty much sucks.
the more i look at it, the more i wanna order one. we seem to be the minority of people on here who actually like them, lol. i've been thinking about buying a new 4 stringer for a while now. this one might just be it.

I love Jackson but they suck, the JS2 is going to be available in RED trans and black, and the JS3 in blue and black---what a crock

What in the hell inspired them to put 5 knobs right there? Yeah I'm sure the majority who buy that bass will be finger players ...... Lol. Gonna be calling that one the bloody knuckles bird lol. Looks cool though. That would have kicked ass on many a bc rich back in the day. Bassists could have had a cool looking Jackson.
i like the looks of it but im not to much of a fan of the color the one dave showed off in namm was so beautiful but i wish it would come out now because i really need a new bass
