Is it an orginal JBS or the duff sig? either way duff is the man and my all time fav bassist.
I have a question, why a grounding plate on the bridge pickup but not the neck, whats the significance of it?
The grounding strap from the bridge pickup to the bridge was a process done in the early days. This was done to ground the bridge. From what I've read, this was done because the process to drill a hole from the bridge to the control cavity presented problems in fabrication???
so the grounding plate under the pickup itself is just to make a contact point for the bridge plate? makes sense. wasnt sure of it was used for grounding the pickup itself too.
