Spent some quality time with the Sisma Venere 110/210 last night while working on a bass review. I was running three reference rigs: the Jad Freer, the Ampeg Venture rig I have in for review (V-12/VB112/VB115), and one of my go-to standards, Glockenklang Blue Sky into Duo Art Light (2x10) and Uno Rock Art Light (1x15). The Ampeg is the most colored of the three (though not as colored as some Ampeg rigs), the Glockenklang is very much aimed at full/neutral/balanced/clear, and the Jad Freer was between the two, but far closer to the Glockenklang. I had my first gig with the Sisma and Venere cabs last night, and the rig performed beautifully. This was with my acoustic band, and I play both upright and acoustic bass guitar. We did have some feedback issues onstage, but they were related to our violin player and our acoustic guitar player. The sound tech loved the Sisma's DI, and to the best of my knowledge, the bass never had any feedback issues in the mains (unlike the other instruments). I did have a few times in the evening when I did get feedback through the rig, but that was when the guitar was cranked in the mains/monitors, and...
