James definitely played on "Giorgio by Moroder" from that same album, and a few tracks, but not "Get Lucky".

It’s not all that uncommon. Producers bring different guys in and sometimes only the producer knows who actually ended up on the final cut (and in some cases more than one bassist ends up on the song).
