Janky-A Rigs of Doom

So when you take every cab I didn't have a use for and connect them all to a power amp, this is what you get.

It's brilliant. Two reasons: (1) luck and (2) biamping. The waaaaaa comes out the two on the bottom and the clank comes out the big one on top. That is an 85-lb. guitar cab. Again, brilliant.

I was just trying to crush all the guitars in my band but when I added that 210 last night the sound changed qualitatively. Not just louder. I called it "authoritah" at the time, but it is doom. Doom.

DOOOOM !!! :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :bawl: :bassist: :bassist: :crying: :bassist:

Alright, I've been viewing all the high-end rigs, the rigs of doom, the mini rigs of doom, the Rigs of the Impending Nuclear Apocolypse, but I haven't had any luck finding budget/basement janky-a$$ rigs of, well, doom. Show me your mis-matched, ugly, inexpensive or oddball rigs, combos etc.

Hmm, not exactly all budget stuff, but plenty of jank here, IMO.

Forgot my cardboard cable...

And then that night when I thought to chain everything together and blow up my eardrums.

Vintage Jank:

'67 B-12XTC head, including attached tray, sitting on a CL score '69 Kustom cab that lost it's tuck 'n' roll running the same CTS 15" that B-15 of the later '60's came with. At full OD with the 6550's it probably tops out at 50-60 watts RMS. It clips very gracefully after a long period of what seems to be clean compression. With 7027A it's like a B-15 with some extra balls and really has a similar but all it's own gnarly OD. It's probably the cleanest feeling guitar/bass amp I've played next to my 300 Pro. It sounds absolutely wonderful with an upright, especially in the nuance and dynamics. It has just enough juice to work with an efficient cabinet. The B-18X used the same exact head.
