Janky-A Rigs of Doom

Here's my janky rig of half-doom for our Christmas services this year. Running the Warwick thru the Peavey, and the Kay thru the Eden Nemesis+Sansamp.

Not sure why this makes me so happy. If someone did steal this piece of awesomeness, you would be way more than $30 pissed. Glad you wrote your name on it.

Glad you dig it :) It seems to have the same effect on a lot of people, I always get compliments on it when rolling it in and out of a venue. The entire band has become pretty attached to it as well.

The real surprise is that the patched up speaker is still going strong almost a year later.

As a happily former owner of a TNT130, yes "roll" is the correct verb as opposed to "carry" or "lift". Good job making poop juice out of the poop life gave you.

OK, I had started another thread about Beater amps for funky rehearsal spaces; but, maybe I really should have just posted up in the Grand Daddy.

So, we relo'd to Tucson a few months back; and I'm finding some fairly funky rehearsal spaces which are a challenge to get gear in and out of. So, I went out around town with a budget of $225 and this is what I came up with. I don't know, maybe that's too expensive to qualify for Janky A. Anyhow:

That's a GB 410tbx. Not too shabby; but, also nothing I'll lose sleep over leaving in the funky rehearsal space.

I'm setting up my own "rig of doom".

Fender Rumble 350 head
Ampeg PF-410 HLF on the bottom
Gk 410 SKB on top.

The GK is getting a total speaker replacement at the moment and probably won't be done till Saturday. The Ampeg is new. When the GK is back I'll post a pic.
