Japanese Hohner Precision Info?

Hello to you all. I am wondering is there somebody who could help me to know more about guitar. I found it on ads, and thought it could be a restoration project. It says that it is a hohner bass. I know that hohner made precision basses in Japan and Korea, but I did not see any with this style of bridge, pickguard and neckplate. If someone could point me to some online material or even better if someone is familiar with this guitar that would help. I wrote to the seller asking about his knowledge of guitar and all he could tell me is that there is no serial number, and that he bought it used in '97... so, any opinion or advice is appreciated
I've had Hondos and one Epiphone with the same bridge. Also a MIK Hohner P Bass. That one had a micro tilt adjustment for the neck. All playable instruments.
The MIJ Hohner P Bass looks like a fine instrument. I don't understand the obsession people have with stock pickups. Unless they're way-too-low output and noisy, there's no real reason to change pickups. You can EQ them all to obtain the tone you want.
It is a Hondo, with its typical Hi mass bridge, Dimarzio pick ups and US Grover tuners. This is an excellent find and I have one in a burst in mint condition. These are killer P basses. If it is indee an MIJ one even better as production of these did move around quite a bit. The neck is incredible, on mine just killer. The pups are vintage Dimarzio's and you would do well to leave them be because they sound to good to be true.
