i think jason would still fit no matter what... honestly i was such a jason fan after he left, he took a huge part of metallica with him...TO ME. it was never the same for me after that, and seeing him play on stage with them again was earthshaking...im seriously surprised the universe didnt hiccup and meltdown because of it. i truely wish jason would come back but we all no it will never happen, but kindof hope. he just....is metallica to me. hopefully they mended anything that got broken between them while rehearsing and on that stage and we can see some more crossings of the 2(newsted and metallica), not necessarily playing together but at least hanging out and all
