I saw Jaquo at NAMM too, at the Adler booth. I was almost too shocked to say 'HI', that and the fact that I didn't know how to say his name correctly.

Jaquo, I also saw you at the Dean booth talking to one of the guys there looking very intently at one of their basses. Or maybe you we're just acting interested so you could check out the Dean "Booth Babes". Those guys really know how to pick 'em.

Josh it would have been Kool to meet you.(Jauqo rhyms with taco)as far as the Dean booth goes I was with Mick Donner of Dean and I was waiting on Brian Bromberg to come back with his new usa sig bass(Brian wanted me to check it out).the Bass you saw me checking out on the wall was Brians Imported sig version.once Brian came with his new sig we went over to the Epifani booth and I played it for a while and really dug it.

I saw you on Thursday at NAMM, then after that I never saw you again. My guess is we will be talking soon. I need to get a CD as well. Good things I hear.

I saw a Jordan Electric Violin at NAMM that was maybe a 10" scale! It had 3 extra strings that went lower, so you could hit Viola, cello and bass tones along with the higher violin voices.

My copy arrived today!

Just listened to the whole CD straight through, twice... OMG!

I have been listening to this CD through these Yamaha Powered reference speakers that we have hooked up to the Warehouse computer ( open box, scratch and dent... umm, don't tell the mgr!)... Granted these are flat response speakers, man the low notes still punch through.. I can't wait till I get back home to check this album out, through our house PA at home (2000+ watts).

J III-X and the drummer really lock in and turn it out... tight and absolutely driving. Who ever (here) said there was an serious Ornette vibe to some of the tunes, was right. DaLawn has some serious feedback control and a vast tonal palette to pull from.

Inspiring to see a cat bring this kind of open, honest and freshly creative material to the music community.
