Jazz 5 string active bass. (no fender)

I don't think there are any non Fender active 5 string Jazz basses on the market (at least not any ever discussed on this forum). :rolleyes:

Overwater (I own two), Sandberg is another. I'm sure there are many more who build active Jazz clones. Or you can drop in a John East J Retro preamp complete with plate and knobs, an easy retrofit if you buy a passive Jazz bass in the Fender format.
 
thr jazz bass is probably the most copied bass ever!
answering that question needs more information:
do you want it to sound like a fender? or to look like one?
where do you live? (some basses are hard to get in some countries)
