Jazz 5 string active bass. (no fender)

Can any please recommend me a jazz five string active bass. I don't know what to get. :T

Lakland 5501 or Lakland DJ5, GREAT Value great quality. DJ5 is passive but u can add a preamp very easily, and on the cheap.

Overwater (I own two), Sandberg is another. I'm sure there are many more who build active Jazz clones. Or you can drop in a John East J Retro preamp complete with plate and knobs, an easy retrofit if you buy a passive Jazz bass in the Fender format.

answering that question needs more information:
do you want it to sound like a fender? or to look like one?
where do you live? (some basses are hard to get in some countries)

I got you...and I agree the OP seems very trollish, indeed. But, you gotta give people the benefit of the doubt...

For a 1000 bucks, Carvin sb5000 is hard to beat. Unless you want a 60s bridge position pickup. Like I do.
