Jazz Bass Mania!

here's USA Custom Guitars Jazz 5 that i put together with J retro Deluxe , DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pups, Birdseye maple neck and board, Ash body and Hipshot hardware- i sold it and now i wish i had it back but may put another one together with a Greengrove preamp which is the preamp Celinder uses..

Those Black and Maple Necks MIA Deluxe Fives i still think are some of the nicest looking basses around :)...and replace the pre with a Sad and uve got urself a great bass toanlly :)....
interestingly enough, tonally, the bass kicks ass stock.. i don't doubt a Sadowsky pre would kick butt, and i have to try one sometime, but i use the mids in the Fender all the time to scoop out for slap or add definition to fingerstyle, so i am afraid to go without a mid control, though i know Roger believes they are more of a hindrance than a help, i guess it's a crutch for me!
