Jazz Bass Mania!

Yes chaps - That's a schaller bridge - now removed and the original put back in place. It had been fitted when I bought it, but luckily the owner had kept all the original stuff like ashtrays etc. And thanks Splanky - it's a real keeper. Stunning bass, Raymond. The more beaten the better, in my opinion. Yours appears to have passed straight through Mojo Central and is on its way..to...uh.....*tails off*

Finally got around to taking pics of my Jazz...

Bought it new in 2000 for $300 from Manny's in NYC. Spent a lot of time trying different ones until I found this one. This is one of those MIM gems you hear about. Great neck, nice fretwork, plays smooth, and sounds sweet. I love her. :D

Hi all. New guy here. I'm really enjoying the overall feeling of camaraderie here. Hope I can contribute something of value.

What great jazz basses in this tread! Here's my love. A 1986 japanese Squier with Custom shop 60's.

My wife just bought me one!

Not the same as the following picture, but very, very close.

No noiseless pickups, but they are very quiet nonetheless.

I jammed with it for the first time 2 weeks ago and boy, did it play great! It's different enough (what I wanted) from my Ibanez (also with J pickups) that it does has it's purpose, so I'm happy.
